ABOUT US
Company History
Since 1996, Forum Leasing, a division of Forum Financial Services, Inc., has priced, structured, negotiated and funded lease transactions with venture capital backed start-ups, structured credits, post bankrupt companies and subsidiaries of foreign corporations. Forum Leasing offers a variety of lease financing structures on most types of equipment throughout the United States. We are a direct funder and do not re-broker lease transactions. We specialize in tough credit equipment leasing. Our lease transactions primarily originate lease brokers, banks, captive finance companies and other third party intermediaries.
Our core competencies are speed and flexibility in negotiating and funding transactions in the $50,000 to $1,000,000 range.
Leadership
John Caulfield | President and CEO
John has a long successful track record in the equipment leasing industry beginning as an account executive with IBM Corporation in 1979 and then CIS Corporation in 1981. In 1983 John was hired to head up sales for Unicom Computer Corporation, a nationwide computer leasing company. In 1988 John formed Forum Financial Group, Inc. which specialized in leasing IBM and other mainframe equipment to middle market and large corporations. In 1996 John formed Forum Financial Services, Inc. to target distressed credits and venture capital backed companies for lease financing of all types of equipment.
John adheres to strong underwriting and documentation, and as a result Forum Leasing continues to grow in a market where so many other leasing companies have failed.
